We’re building a more accurate and transparent view of our diversity profile so we can effectively target our actions and measure our progress.
While we are making progress, it’s clear we have more work to do. Although we have a broadly even split of men and women at HSBC, we have more men than women in senior roles, and more than two-thirds of women who work at the bank are employed in junior roles.
We are building a deeper understanding of representation across the organisation by asking colleagues to share their ethnicity, disability, gender identity and sexual orientation data where it is legally and culturally acceptable to do so.
