We welcome students from all degree disciplines and backgrounds, not just those who’ve studied finance-related degrees, or those who have knowledge of banking.

To join us on a Degree Apprenticeship in Technology, you’ll need to be:

• A school or college leaver, or someone looking to re-start, change or develop your career
• Highly motivated – we're looking for people with drive and ambition
• Interested In Technology, although whether you’ve tinkered with tech already or have no previous experience, doesn’t really concern us
• Naturally curious, open-minded and driven to succeed
• Keen to help us create a digital-first bank that provides great experiences for our customers and colleagues

We’ll help you develop the technical skills most relevant to your role. We’ll also provide plenty of opportunities to advance your non-technical skills, like relationship management and collaboration, that will help you move your career forward successfully.

During your time on the programme, you’ll:

• Learn about our teams across Cyber, Data and Engineering, and see how we’re using emerging technologies to deliver digital-first banking for our customers
• Benefit from a mix of practical on-the-job training, technical skills-based learning and opportunities to enhance the behavioural and cognitive skills you’ll need throughout your career. Skills like analytical thinking and collaboration
• Develop your professional, personal, and work-based transferable skills, while learning how to work in a professional environment
