Over the course of two years, you'll get to:

Work as part of a dedicated team focused on specific transactions, products, or market sectors, creating solutions for corporate, private equity and financial institution clients. Teams include Advisory and Investment Banking Coverage, Capital Markets, Real Assets, and Structured Finance
Prepare and review the materials we use when delivering those solutions to clients – including investment memos, management presentations, and pitchbooks
Gain a better understanding of how different types of financial models are used for mergers and acquisitions, and debt and equity financing transactions
Apply various valuation methods such as comparable companies, precedents, and Discounted Cash Flow
Research the market as it changes and develops, create tailored presentations and build relationships with new and existing clients to grow the business further
Perform due diligence, research, analysis, and prepare documentation for live transactions
Meet with clients and be involved in the execution of transactions
Make the most of meaningful development opportunities, focused on skills and tailored to the role you may be interested in when you complete the programme

We’ll help you develop the technical skills most relevant to your role. We’ll also provide plenty of opportunities to advance your non-technical skills, like relationship management and collaboration, that will help you move your career forward successfully.

During your time on the programme, you'll:

Learn how to analyse a company using accounting fundamentals and benchmarking techniques
Learn about product overviews, the corporate life cycle, modelling, valuation, and other aspects of financial analysis relevant to your team
Further your knowledge and gain practical experience of executing transactions
Discover how we work closely with clients to understand their long-term strategic goals and deliver tailored financial and advisory solutions
Develop stronger negotiating skills and gain confidence through the experience of working closely with clients
Have plenty of other opportunities for learning and skills development, plus people to support you along the way, ensuring you’re well prepared for the future
