Senior Manager, Internal Audit

I’ve been with HSBC for six years, and it’s been wonderful journey filled with exciting challenges and opportunities for growth. The bank’s global reach and commitment to diversity and inclusion were the main draws for me when I first joined as an Audit Manager.

One of the things I love most about my job is that it’s never the same day twice. Every audit brings new puzzles to solve and new lessons to learn. Plus, working with a bunch of brilliant people from all walks of life makes the days fly by. It’s really rewarding to help people by offering advice or suggesting ways to improve things.

HSBC’s culture is one of collaboration, innovation, and a strong commitment to doing the right thing. I’ve always felt supported and encouraged to share my ideas and perspectives. The bank’s emphasis on diversity and inclusion has created a welcoming and inclusive environment for all employees.

HSBC’s culture is one of collaboration, innovation, and a strong commitment to doing the right thing.

One of my proudest moments at HSBC was when I got involved in the Future Fit for Leaders Programme. It was a great chance to share my ideas on hybrid working and contribute to a more customer-focused culture.

Over the years, I’ve grown so much as a professional. I’ve learned the ins and outs of the bank’s operations, become a better leader, and built some amazing relationships with my colleagues. Looking ahead, I’m excited to explore new opportunities within the Global Internal Audit (GIA) function. With the support of my manager and the bank’s commitment to employee development, I know I can achieve my career goals.
