Melissa Fu

I’ve been at HSBC for 16 years. I joined as a Relationship Manager and have worked my way up to Senior Director in our Premier Elite team in Singapore, where I oversee a portfolio of high-net-worth clients.

Some of my clients have been with me since my earliest days at the bank. HSBC provides a full range of wealth services worldwide, which means my career can grow with my customers. As their lives and banking needs have changed and grown, I’ve been a constant for them. I really appreciate these relationships and the trust they place in me.

I help my clients reach their financial goals, whether that’s building their wealth, legacy planning or funding their children’s education. They all have different, individual needs. I’m very tenacious and enjoy working out the right solution for them.

Supportive culture

What I love most about working here is the culture. It’s a supportive and collaborative environment where everyone’s contribution is valued. Our senior managers are always on hand to give advice when we need it and to offer development opportunities. They’re genuinely invested in our career progression. I’m excited to see what’s ahead for me.

Outside work, I enjoy travelling and I am an animal lover. I have a lovely dog at home, he has just turned 9 years old, a big boy now and I love spending time with him. It’s a great way to alleviate stress.
