ESG and responsible business

Supporting sustainable growth

Our approach to ESG

Our approach to environmental, social and governance is rooted in creating long term value for our customers and the economies in which we operate. We focus our efforts on three areas: the transition to net zero, building inclusion and resilience, and acting responsibly.

We seek to build strong relationships with all of our stakeholders, including our customers, employees, suppliers, regulators, investors, and the wider communities we serve, taking into account the issues that matter to them.

We maintain high standards of governance and strive to meet our responsibilities to society. And we monitor and regularly publish updates on our ESG performance.

We publish a wide range of information on our performance in relation to environmental, social and governance (ESG) issues. Below you can access our ESG reporting resources and find out more about how we support our different stakeholder groups.
